Supporting the 6th International Collective Action Conference

The Basel Institute on Governance is offering a six-month internship (80–100 %, starting 1 February 2026) to support the planning and organisation of the next International Collective Action Conference. The position is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in project management, communications, and international governance work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting speaker and participant coordination, invitation processes, and CRM maintenance (Salesforce)
  • Assisting with communication and outreach tasks, including newsletters, social media, website updates, and conference materials
  • Handling logistical tasks such as venue bookings, catering coordination, registration, and on-site helpdesk support during the conference
  • Contributing to project and budget tracking as well as post-conference reporting and follow-up

Candidate Profile

  • Enrolled student or recent graduate in fields such as International Relations, Communications, Event/Project Management, or related disciplines
  • Excellent command of English and German
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills; interest in governance and anti-corruption topics
