Curriculum Vitae
Jochen Rehmert has been research associate in the Institute of Political Science since January 2024, as heading his SNF Ambizione project on the non-nomination of politicians. Previously, he was a postdoctoral research assistant at the Department of Political Science in Zurich (IPZ) and at the Humboldt University in Berlin.
Jochen Rehmert obtained his doctorate at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin.
His research focuses on candidate lineups in parties, coalition formations and politics as well as parliamentary research, partly with a focus on Japanese politics.
