Shrey Kapoor has been a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for European Global Studies and the Department of Political Science since 2025. He completed his PhD in Development Sociology at Cornell University. His research focuses on urban dispossession and segregation, theories of violence, Hindu nationalism and authoritarianism, and transnational repression, with a regional emphasis on South Asia.
